Energy and engineering analysis identified opportunity to replace the building’s
original scotch marine steam boilers
Replacement of existing steam boilers with a new modular higher efficiency
non-condensing hot water boiler plant to provide hot water for building heating and
domestic hot water production as well as a new carbon monoxide control system for
the parking garage
Saved over $106,000 in avoided utility cost in the first year alone, representing a
savings of approximately 19%
