Project Highlights and Results

• The combined air handling system saved the facility a considerable amount of initial cost by reducing the total number in supply units. This concept, developed by Elara, avoided the construction of additional penthouse square footage as recommended by another engineering firm.
• Design involved replacing two individual air handling systems and combining them into a single system. The air system was converted from a constant air volume system into a variable air volume system by removing the existing constant volume reheat coils and replacing them with retrofit VAV boxes and new reheat coils.
