Elara Engineering is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer who is passionate about providing energy efficiency and sustainability expertise to our clients and projects. This position will focus on performing conceptual engineering design, developing energy audits/analyses, creating and analyzing energy models, performing energy benchmarking, and preparing post-implementation analyses confirming actual weather-normalized energy savings. This position will additionally support incentive program applications and LEED submissions of Elara projects.
- Passion for sustainable building design and self-starter with the ability to research independently.
- Organized and collaborative with high attention to detail
- Experience writing a professional and technical report
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently while managing multiple projects
- Knowledge of building codes/certifications such as ASHRAE 90.1, IECC, LEED, and Energy Star.
- Experience energy auditing and master planning for commercial, institutional and/or industrial buildings.

- Energy modeling experience
