Elara Engineering is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer to support the growth of our Building Performance Studio. The selected individual will be expected to participate in significant controls engineering efforts for existing and new buildings and support continued growth. The role includes participating in a range of different controls projects for clients directly and supporting MEPFP projects led by other engineers.
- Experience with HVAC systems operation.
- Experience with a range of efficient control strategies and troubleshooting HVAC controls issues.
- Experience with creating functional testing documents and performing on-site functional testing.
- Experience with understanding existing sequence of operation on existing systems and creating new sequence of operations.
- Experience training and supporting other individuals.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience with Revit.
- Passion for energy efficiency and/or sustainable design.
- Preferred:
- Commissioning or retro-commissioning experience
