Elara Engineering is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to join our Chicago or Hillside office. The selected individual should have direct experience managing multiple projects. The individual should have experience working with architects, contractors, and project managers. Several positions are open and a passion for individual markets such as Healthcare or Higher Education will be considered.
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- New construction and retrofit experience
- Desire to learn and apply sustainable strategies such as sewer heat recovery
- Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Preferred:
- Passion for developing others
- Experience managing 1-3 engineers or designers on a project basis
